In our neighbourhood one can find numerous settlements with traces of their historic past, such as the Tihany peninsula with its thousand-year-old history; the county seat, Veszprém, which is often called the queens’ town; or Balatonfüred, the home of Jókai Mór, a Hungarian writer known for his historic novels.
The villa is located on a wonderful hillside with vineyards and oak forests around. From its backyard one can directly walk into the nearby forest. The Bakony hills are ideal for trekking and they are within an easy reach. There are newly built bicycle roads around the lake and in the nearby villages.
